Level 1: Exposure to the LGBTQ+ community and experiences.

Storytelling is one of the most potent ways to facilitate understanding, particularly about things where there is a lot of confusion and miseducation. Slowing down to put a face on an identity reminds us that these are human lives worthy of dignity, respect, and love. Sometimes it takes knowing just one person who is affected by something to shift our perspectives. And sharing that new understanding with others might help them have their perspectives shifted as well.

In this program, we share a personal coming out story and what it feels like to be on the other side of authenticity. This talk is for audiences who are learning about LGBTQ+ identities and would like to be able to ask questions in a non-confrontational environment.
